UK General Data Protection Regulations 2018

To assist us in working effectively with you, The Supernatural, Extraterrestrial & Paranormal Investigations Agency also known as “The SEPI Agency”, keeps confidential records about its clients and subjects. These records are kept securely, are only seen by authorised personnel and may be used anonymously in the production of statistics or media content. The records held by us are subject to the General Data Protection Regulations 2018, which gives clients /subjects the right to access personal data held about them. To safely and appropriately provide services, we collect personal data, and we request the clients/subjects written consent to collect this data. This is a legal requirement under UK law.

ICO Registration

As per the guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office requirements relating to storage and use of private and personal data, we are now required to register with the ICO which is complete.

UK Freedom of Information Act

As a small private enterprise, we are also exempt from any FOIA requests. Should our position change, this policy will be updated.

Secure Cloud Storage

All data collected by us is securely stored on secure cloud servers within the EU and is not shared with any third-party services. Currently, should an enforcement agency within the UK request access to the data for criminal investigative reasons, we will be obliged under the correct legal requests.

Your Personal Information

As well as having secure storage, we do not share your personal details with anyone unless express permission has been granted by you.
