This agency is dedicated to employing critical thinking, policing techniques, and an open-minded approach to investigate the supernatural, extraterrestrial, and paranormal phenomena. We coin this scope of investigation as para-investigations. We believe that adding legitimacy to these subjects requires professional documentation and investigation.
We have moved beyond merely 'chasing ghosts' and examining photos of dust particles. Our goal is to unite organisations to share information, establish investigative standards, formulate and test new hypotheses, and shed light in a field that is often shrouded in obscurity.
Hence, we have earned the nickname of the "Paranormal Police," and our ambitions are grand. If you are interested in joining our quest, please reach out to us directly to schedule an informal meeting with us.
Your pursuit of the truth has already started; consider advancing it alongside us.
Although this is a voluntary role, we hope to earn an income in the near future and pay expenses and eventually, even a salary as full-time SEPI Officers.
What's a SEPI Officer? Any individual who has been approved and recognised by the agency as an investigator is a SEPI Officer.
They would have received training in techniques such as taking witness accounts, conducting and documenting interviews, and obtaining evidence. They participate in the assessment processes by examining new incidents and cases. It is permitted for a SEPI Officer to interview subjects and get witness accounts.
Every SEPI officer possesses a current government security clearance or a DBS Standard certificate, which is mandated by the agency. This is to make sure that, should they visit your residence or place of employment, they are reputable people who behave in accordance with the highest standards that are expected.
They will wear SEPI Agency clothing, such as a polo shirt, t-shirt, pullover, or fleece displaying the SEPI Agency shield, which is strikingly similar to a police officer's badge. They will also have their own unique officer number and own a SEPI Agency ID card.
Please be aware that we do not use police powers* or systems during investigations, that we are trained to spot any illegal behaviour or suspicious circumstances, and if we believe that the safety and welfare of any concerned parties are at risk, the SEPI Agency will take the necessary actions and provide the best possible safeguarding measures and advise and, engage with external agencies where necessary.
*Please note: Time spent on SEPI Agency interests is carried out in our own time - off duty.
What's a SEPI Researcher? Anyone recognised as a subject matter expert or expert in a particular field of interest that the agency believes might be helpful to investigations can become a SEPI Researcher.
Since SEPI Researchers never interview subjects/informants or gather witness accounts on their own, they are exempt from the requirement for any kind of security clearance; however, they are still permitted to attend interviews, events, and investigations in the company of SEPI Officers, but they will never own their own case.
Along with a distinctive SEPI number, ID card, and clothing (polo shirts, fleece, jumpers, or t-shirts), they will also be identified by the term "SEPI Researcher" rather than "Officer."
Expertise can include areas such as photography and film, historians, attorneys/lawyers, medical personnel, scientists, professors, etc. Although it serves as a guide, this list is not exhaustive.
